I put an older strain on in the beta wardrobe and went to the VIP page. It says my strain hasn't progressed enough to be effective. But it's a completely zombified strain from an earlier year. Why isn't it letting me register to bite people?

New problem. I was bitten by an unknown strain a bit back, It didn't progress and I thought it was bugged, so I swapped for my old, completed zombie strain. Nothing changed, so I turned it off. Now I can't see the new one on my HA nor at the healer's, and I still can't bite anyone. What did I break??

Took some time, but the problem resolved itself.

It is too late to put on an old Skin, the VIP section takes priority if you asked to be infected. You may have asked for an infection first somehow? If not then look through the FAQ, or maybe wait for the cache to register your HA change.

You can only bite people who asked for any strain, or for your specific strain.

Ah, that's my problem. I chose that and after nothing showing up for a few days, I went and put on my old skin. Guess I just gotta be patient!
